The Deputy Minister of ICT, highlighting telecommunication as the driving force and infrastructure of development, stated that: “Fortunately, from the onset of the “Government of Wisdom and Hope” administration, appropriate investment has been made in the infrastructure section of Iran’s telecommunication.”

According to Public Relation department of the Ministry, Mr. Eng. Khosravi, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Telecommunication Infrastructure Company (TIC), accompanied by Dr. Karimi, Planning and Development Deputy of TIC, and some provincial managers and officials, stated these words while attending the administrative council’s meeting of Asadabad Township, and added that: “Since in the infrastructure sector of telecommunication, return of the investment is a long term process, the private sector rarely participates and it usually governments that invest in this sector; the private sector mostly goes for services and facilities which offer quick yielding, short term return of investment.”

He included: “By starting and inaugurating these projects, and through manifold increase in our bandwidths, we shall be taking a major step in service provision and customer satisfaction.”

Eng. Khosravi expressed optimism in saying that: “With the development of the infrastructure of Iran’s telecommunication, in parallel with developing and increasing the capacities of the Internet sector, we will also take all the cultural, social, ethical, and security considerations to ensure that our families will have no worries in this regard.”

Later on, Dr. Nemati, a parliamentary board member and the representative of Asadabad Township, made a number of statements, saying that: “Considering the position of satellite station in the telecommunication sector of our province, we expect that the “Government of Wisdom and Hope”, will satisfy the demands and requirements of the good and faithful people of the province in the ICT sector, by providing proper communication infrastructure for regions currently deprived of such facilities.”

He included that: “The good potential of the county can enable us to solve the problems facing this region and the province in the optic fiber and internet sector, through proper investment in the infrastructure of the country.”

In this meeting, Mr. Eng. Bekayi, Governor of Asadabad, Mr. Eng. Saki, General Director of ICT provincial office, and Mr. Eng.
