PR of the ministry of ICT – Dr. Mohammad Hassan Mohebian Araghi, CEO of Post' First Operator said:" It's supposed to provide a business program for the provinces to become profitable by considering the defined phases".
"In the first phase, the eight large provinces have to provide their business plan during three months to achieve the defined goals", he added.
CEO of post' first operator pointed that the eight provinces where will provide their programs in the first phase are including: Tehran, Alborz, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Tabriz, Khuzestan, Gilan and Mazandaran.
He expressed that business plan will be provided in the remaining provinces in the second phase and emphasized: "Currently, 70 percent of postal traffic and revenue is for the large provinces of the country".
"We hope that the provided business plan will be finalized and notified for implementing till the end of the current year by the efforts", he continued.
"We believe that the business plan can provide the necessary conditions for Post entrance to the stock exchange as a profitable center and a great demand will be created by the private sector to get its share", Mohammad Hassan Mohebian Araghi said.
He said that privatization of the company will be completed by giving the shares to the stock exchange and added now some steps has been got such as separating the building of post first operator from the ministry of ICT.
"Granting the first operator license of Post was another step toward implementing Article 44 of the constitution and according to the Act the company's shares should be given to the private sector till the end of 1391 (solar year)", he emphasized.
